Responsibilities:
The contractor shall provide a qualified workforce to integrate constructive/instrumentation data and virtual systems with live operations, to support training and tactics development. Position will also facilitate mission monitor, recording and review, especially as they pertain to the C2/ISR and Electronic Warfare communities. The LVC Integrator will: Integrate and support the efforts of technicians in hardware, software and networking, as well as program and Information Assurance policy managers. Steward the “always-on” data feeds from the Nevada Test and Training Range (NTTR), to include Time, Space, Position Information instrumentation (air and ground), radar, voice and tactical link. Maintain proficiency on data routing, environment generation, mission capture and display systems. Facilitate combat and training system operators’ participation in events and provide capabilities briefings and demonstrations to government and industry. Coordinate 805 CTS distributed LVC operations on several networks, e.g., Joint Information Operations Range (JIOR), and Joint Training and Experimentation Network (JTEN). Maintain organizational relationships with enabling/beneficiary activities, to include the USAF Warfare Center, NTTR, 96th Test Wing, JADC2 Joint Demonstration Environment partners, Service and Joint Software Integration Labs, 414th Combat Training Squadron and the USAF Weapons School. Develop cooperative agreements among organizations, e.g., Memoranda of Agreement and Interconnectivity Support Agreements, etc. Expand the 805 CTS portfolio of technical and operational capabilities and partnerships. Liaise with USAF higher echelons and joint organizations to develop USAF LVC capabilities. Assimilate C2/ISR and Electronic Warfare constructive and virtual capabilities with fifth generation fighter corollaries, to include the USAF Warfare Center’s Virtual Test & Training Center. Position will support technical requirements for squadron supported/supporting training and experimentation events and other COCOM, USAFWC, and 505 CCW events as required.
Qualifications:
- Associate degree required
- Must have knowledge of various communication protocols
- Must have a Top-Secret Clearance with SCI eligibility at a minimum
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Knowledge of Python and C++ programming languages is highly desired
- Should have previous live/virtual/constructive experience with various modeling/simulation environments
