Responsibilities:
The contractor shall lead security training and communicate policies. Create and execute policy and audit plans and identify security risks and operation needs. Review configuration and updates to ensure software and infrastructure are protected. Responsibility may span design of technical solutions for network boundary protection, endpoint security, access control, auditing, network monitoring; network and system vulnerability assessment; application and software security assessment; database security assessment and monitoring; software security assurance; security configuration assessment, compliance management; incident handling, response and reporting; technical security support to Certification and Accreditation (C&A) processes and testing and security impact assessments as part of change management. Provides oversight and direction to staff on major projects. Skills/Specialties may include: Cyber Security, IT Management, Network Security Management, Security Intrusion Detection, Security Risk Management, and Team Management.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree preferred, Bachelors of Science required
- Must have 10 years’ experience in relevant field
- Must have CISSP or IAM Level III certification
- Must have expert knowledge in DODI 8500.01, DODI 8510.01, NIST SP 800-30, NIST 800-37, NIST 800-53a, NIST SP 800-61, NIST 800-171, AR 25-2, and AR 380-5; eMASS; DoD RMF processes
- Must have a Top Secret Clearance with SCI eligibility at a minimum
